Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to assist with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract such data from images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will check if your browser accepts cookies. This contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we set several cookies to save your login info and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for two weeks. Upon logout, login cookies are removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an extra cookie is stored in your browser, containing no personal data. It simply indicates the post ID of the article just edited and expires in 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if the visitor has visited the source website directly. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the content, especially if you’re logged in to that site.
Analytics
We may use third-party analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to help us understand visitor behavior on our site. These tools collect anonymized information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using Google’s browser add-on.
Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
This site displays advertisements and includes affiliate marketing links. When you click on these links and make a purchase or complete an action, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.
Third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdSense, affiliate programs) may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing behavior across this and other websites.
You can learn more about controlling personalized ads through YourAdChoices.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve future comments automatically.
For registered users, we store personal information provided in their user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Administrators can also view and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request that we erase any personal data, except data retained for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where you data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
